Expansion Strengthens the Global Presence of Saudi Technology Solutions

Riyadh – almatar Company has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Wakanow, the largest digital travel platform in Africa, under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

This partnership aims to expand almatar’s services across African markets by enabling the provision of flight services through its technology and expertise in airline content distribution. The initiative is expected to enhance the booking experience and provide users with broader travel options across more than 15 African countries.

This step aligns with almatar’s direction to strengthen the presence of its technology solutions in international markets and support its expansion beyond Saudi Arabia, in line with the objectives of the National Technology Development Program, which focuses on enabling Saudi tech companies to grow and expand globally.

It also reflects almatar’s ongoing efforts to develop its digital ecosystem by delivering technology-driven solutions that support the travel sector and enhance overall user experience and service efficiency.
