Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with almatar to expand travel options and provide additional benefits for guests through digital solutions and platforms. The agreement aims to simplify booking procedures and provide a more flexible and integrated travel experience.
The MoU was signed during WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2026 by Arved von zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia, and Faisal Alrajhi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of almatar.
Under the MoU, guests will benefit from preferential fares on Saudia flights, along with greater flexibility to amend or cancel bookings in accordance with applicable terms and conditions. These benefits provide guests with options that cater to different travel needs while facilitating their experience from the planning stage through to arrival at their destination.
The collaboration also extends to users of the Nusuk platform, facilitating travel options for pilgrims travelling to the Kingdom and supporting efforts to enhance their experience through digital solutions and more integrated travel services.
Through its growing network of partnerships, Saudia continues to broaden access to its services and leverage digital solutions to provide guests with greater choice and a more connected travel experience throughout their journey.
