An alliance between the almatar and “Ikram Al-Dhaif” to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers

The Saudi almatar Travel and Tourism Group, owner of the “Almatar” application, the most downloaded local application in the tourism and travel sector in the Kingdom, signed a strategic partnership agreement with “Ekram Aldaif” Tourism Company “Ashrakat”, which specializes in providing Hajj and hospitality services to those coming from outside the Kingdom.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Mahdar, General Manager of “Almatar – Business” Administration, and Mr. Muhammad Zain Eid, Executive Director of “Ekram Aldaif” Company. The agreement aims to provide integrated services to pilgrims to the House of God and Umrah performers, whether individuals or groups, through a strategic partner in the field of aviation.

For his part, Mr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Muhdar, Director General of the “almatar – Business” Department, explained that the agreement includes various types of aviation services, including scheduled flights provided by traditional or full-service airlines, in addition to low-cost airlines.

Al-Muhdar added that the cooperation with “Ashraqat” aims to design and activate an integrated digital platform for booking, in multiple languages, that allows individuals from anywhere in the world to book and pay for services, with full support for digital payments and installment services. The agreement also includes providing hotel booking services for pilgrims and Umrah performers, which include hotels and residential units approved and licensed by the Ministry of Tourism in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah.

Al-Muhdar stated that other services that the “almatar” will provide include issuing train tickets for domestic flights, first class, business class and economy class, in addition to providing private and commercial aircraft rental services around the world at special prices, while ensuring the provision of all required approvals according to the Kingdom’s regulations.

Al-Mahdar attributed almatar choice of Ashraqat to sign this agreement to the company’s experience of more than 40 years in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, where it has served about 10 million pilgrims and Umrah performers.

For his part, Mr. Mohammed Zein Eid, CEO of Ikram Al-Dhaif (Ashraqat), welcomed the signing of this strategic partnership with almatar Group, considering the partnership an important step towards developing the company’s services, in light of the advanced technologies that almatar Group possesses in the tourism and travel sector, which represent the future.

Mr. Eid explained that the agreement includes providing a diverse range of reception services at almatar inside and outside the Kingdom, including VIP services and delivery services.

Mr. Eid added that the services also include field center services that aim to support the pilgrims’ delegation and transport them to the holy sites, stressing that these services aim to enable pilgrims and Umrah performers to perform their rituals in the best possible way, with a focus on providing comfort and easy access to various services.
