Free Delay 

  1. Free Delay is an optional service that provides free rebooking or a 100% refund of the base fare and taxes in the event of a qualifying flight disruption.
  2. Free Delay is available only for domestic flights.
  3. To be eligible, the flight must be delayed or cancelled by more than 1 hour, and the disruption must occur within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time.
  4. The Free Delay must be added during the booking process via the Add-ons page and is separate from the standard Golden Guarantee.
  5. In the event of a flight delay or cancellation, the customer must provide valid proof of the disruption.
  6. Once confirmed, the customer can either be rebooked on any available airline in a similar fare class or choose to receive a 100% refund of the base fare and taxes.
  7. The refund includes only the original base fare and taxes; service fees, add-ons, free delay fee, and extras such as seat selection or baggage are not refundable.
  8. Free Delay can only be used once per booking. Multiple disruptions do not entitle the customer to multiple refunds or rebookings.
  9. Baggage is the customer’s responsibility, and almatar does not assist with checked or carry-on luggage.
  10. If the customer misses the rebooked flight, almatar is not liable, and no further compensation or rebooking will be offered.
  11. Once a refund is accepted, the customer is no longer eligible for rebooking under the Free Delay.
  12. If the customer voluntarily cancels or changes their flight, the Delay Protection becomes void and is not applicable.
  13. This offer is directed to individuals and families, this offer is NOT intended for travel agencies, companies, organizations or individuals who are booking on behalf of others.
  14. almatar app has the right to cancel the points or close the account for any party that is found to be seeking fraud or illegal profit.
  15. almatar has the right to change or cancel this offer at its discretion.
